USDLA To Announce Award Winners

Winners will be announced at the USDLA Awards Ceremony, 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Hilton Ballpark Hotel, St. Louis, MO!

The United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA), the nation’s premier distance learning association since 1987, presents its 2016 International Distance Learning Awards, the premier awards for the distance learning industry. These prestigious awards are presented annually to organizations and individuals, and recognize four categories of excellence:

Category I – 21st Century Best Practice Award

The 21st Century Award recognizes the outstanding contributions and leadership of corporations and non-profit institutions in the field of distance learning.

Category II – Best Practices in Distance Learning Programming

The Best Practice in Distance Learning Programming awards are given to institutions and organizations that have designed and delivered outstanding and comprehensive distance learning programming for an individual program or a series of programs.

Category III – Best Practices in Distance Learning Teaching/Training

The Best Practice in Distance Learning Teaching/Training awards are given to outstanding individuals whose programs demonstrate extraordinary achievements in scholarly research and writing, leadership, and service including long-term contributions that enhance and create a better understanding of distance learning for teaching or training environments.

Category IV – Outstanding Leadership by an Individual in the field of Distance Learning

The Outstanding Leadership by an Individual in the field of Distance Learning awards are given to individuals for outstanding leadership in the field of distance learning.
