American Medical Association Again Delays Ruling on Telemedicine Ethics

The American Medical Association (AMA) again delayed the ruling on telemedicine ethics. The decision leaves state medical boards and providers in limbo, while delegates debate the definition of a valid doctor-patient encounter. This will also impact "Telehealth" and distance learning. Often education is part of the treatment - and we live in a world where we absolutely need to be able to deliver both medical and educational services in medicine at a distance - in the "tele" way.
