New Technology Company Puts Emphasis on Simulation-Based Learning

On September 1, 2015, Thomas W. Mastaglio, Ph.D., Chairman, MYMIC LLC, announced the launch of MYMIC SIMULATIONS LLC, a new training technology company that will offer a wide range of training and learning products and services with emphasis on simulation-based learning. The new company’s target market will be Enterprise Learning (E-Learning) with an estimated $310 billion market in 2013, according to Training Industry, Inc. MYMIC LLC, the parent company, has been a provider of interactive simulated safety and skills training content for the Army, Navy, and NASA. Now, MYMIC SIMULATIONS LLC will provide the same capability to commercial customers such as Sherwin-Williams, American President Lines (APL), and more than 90 marinas across the U.S. For more information, visit http://mymic.net.



2015 Technology Exchange Will Bring Industry Leaders Together

Southwest Minnesota State University Nursing Program Earns Accreditation!

The Southwest Minnesota State University’s R.N. to B.S.N. nursing program has been accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The accreditation means the university has met the quality standards for a nursing program. The distance-learning program is new as an academic offering at Southwest Minnesota State University and just finished its second year. Learners are registered nurses completing their Bachelor’s degree in nursing. The program had a fall 2014 review with a site visit and study report. In May of 2015, full accreditation was granted.

 



Khan’s Digital World – a New Show on MHz TV

Khan’s Digital World aims to address critical technological issues that have implications in all aspects of everyday life. The show is comprised of six sovereign continents: eEducation, eGovernment, eCommerce, eHealth, eArgiculture, and eEntertainment that encompass humanities pillars in electronic globalization. Khan’s expert interpretation of the digital world aims to put the viewer at the center of this electronic society.
